It has everything a person could want: memorable characters, fantastic story arcs, deep worldbuilding, and arguably the best and most detailed power system in any anime. There was an anime adaptation back in 1999, but the one that people are most familiar with is the 2011 anime. That anime ended in 2014 but the manga continues where the anime left off.
Well, apart from Hunter x Hunter, there are lots of nice anime to watch, here’s top 10 anime for you to enjoy. Let’s find out!
Seven Deadly Sins
First up on this list is Seven Deadly Sins. Like Hunter x Hunter, Seven Deadly Sins is an action-adventure anime on a grand scale.
Seven Deadly Sins features a large cast of memorable characters and a story full of twists and turns. The fight scenes are also to be commended. Taking a page from Hunter x Hunter’s playbook, the fight scenes in this anime require more strategy than typical anime action scenes.

Made In Abyss
At first glance, Made in Abyss seems like a fun, lighthearted anime about adventuring in a mysterious land in search of wondrous relics, but the more you watch, the darker the themes get. That’s something many Hunter x Hunter fans went through when they first started the series thinking it was going to be a fun anime about a boy going on adventures with his friends only to find dark themes about losing one’s humanity.
If Hunter x Hunter has left you craving for a well-executed, adventure-focused anime filled with compelling drama, stunning art, and beautiful—and often terrorizing—music, then Made in Abyss is the anime for you.
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure
If you’re looking for an anime with a unique power system that has oddly specific rules like Nen in Hunter x Hunter, look no further than JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Like how Nen abilities have specific rules and conditions that must be met to be used, Stand abilities are usually very specific, like a Stand that can control someone’s movements but only through the person’s wounds and the Stand has to be above the target. Like Nen in Hunter x Hunter creates more cerebral fights, the conditions and limitations of Stands leads to battles that require strategy more than brute strength.

The Promised Neverland
Speaking of Demons, we have another masterpiece which Hunter x Hunter fans will absolutely adore. The Promised Neverland anime is kind of similar to the Chimera Ant arc of Hunter x Hunter, although a bit darker, and there is no Nen for kids to defend themselves from Demons who see them as livestock.
The story follows the journey of Emma, who lives happily among other children in an orphanage run by a sister. Often, children are sent off to families willing to adopt them. When Emma tries to say goodbye to her sister, she finds out that none of what they’re told is true. Instead of being sent to new families, the children are eaten by the demons.
